We present the essentials of our collection in our minimum showroom at stilwerk, and combine the classics from renowned designers such as Charles and Ray Eames, Le Corbusier, Arne Jacobsen and Mies van der Rohe with products from various young designers such as Stefan Diez, Konstantin Grcic, Philipp Mainzer and Farah Ebrahimi. Our collages are intended to provide you with suggestions, possibilities and inspiration when designing your own surroundings. The products and their combinations are part of our language of design, and we look forward to discussing these with you and providing you with helpful advice at any time both as consultants and as a source of inspiration.
The collection selection focuses on Cassina, e15, Knoll International, Fritz Hansen, Thonet, Vitra, USM, sdr+, Living Divani, Minotti, Moroso and Zeitraum.
Projects implemented in the living sector
minimumhouse
The idea for the minimumhouse came about in a discussion
between Wilfried Lembert and Hermann Scheidt from ska-architektenn during an
evening inauguration of an office. It concerned the question of why pre-hanged,
serial facade elements are not used for single family houses as they are for
large buildings, in order to construct with high quality at a lower price. We
had no answer to this, so we decided to build something.
pixelpark
minimum designed a digital living room for pixelpark, the creative agency. Part of the project was a special construction equipped with products from Vitra and Fritz Hansen.
minimumloft
In the Bavarian quarter in Berlin, we built the minimumloft by bringing together two separate freehold flats and redesigning the complete floor space. As part of this, minimum planned and implemented the spatial structure, lighting concept and kitchen planning. Furniture was specified according to the old adage of 'less is more'. We mixed modern classics with partly limited edition new interior design objects selected from our manufacturers.
Our most important living collections

The collage of classics
In this homestead, we
have combined the lounge chair by Charles & Ray Eames with the shelf system
by Dieter Rams. Found a matching end table for magazines at the flea market and
built in the last roof beam of a Belgian barn.

Plastics meet old wood
The PP plastics shell of the HAL chair is perfectly suited for ergonomic sitting, but in our collage, it needs the haptic sensation of an old wood table.
As such, modernity meets material and haptics.

Structure meets volume
Good furnishings live from the contrast and excitement of the individual elements. This is why we like to combine room-dominating volumes such as the Mags Sofa with light structures such as the Tray Tables.
In this case, the
furniture is all from HAY.

Charles & Ray Eames meet the European Eames - Jean Prouvé
One of the most important chairs by Charles & Ray Eames, the DAR (Dining Height Armchair Rod Base), with its dark base, combines very well with the Trapèze by Jean Prouvé. The organic shell is a wonderful contrast to the cool steel design of Prouvé.

Archaic global culture
The room-forming Shiraz Sofas by e15 provide loft nomads with warmth and security and provide the necessary support for souvenirs from the Istanbul Bazaar.

Living with classics
After numerous attempts at furnishing one's own life, at some point one likes to return to the origin – the classics by Le Corbusier.
The designs are as clear as if a child had drawn a sofa or a couch, and they never lose any of their timeliness. Since this is one of the few furniture programs in which it is still contemporary to combine armchairs and sofas from the same family, we recommend to at least contrast leather and cloth.

Our expertise in the living sector
This is where we come in. With our passion for good, authentic design we have worked continuously on our assortment of manufacturers and products, and we can now take advantage of this for you. We prefer to combine classics from renowned designers such as Charles and Ray Eames, Le Corbusier, Arne Jacobsen and Mies van der Rohe with products from various young designers such as Stefan Diez, Konstantin Grcic and Philipp Mainzer to create minimum-typical collages for living. Why do we choose classics, time and time again? We constantly search for new things, but we believe that new products only bear validity when they are functionally and ecologically better than those they replace. Unfortunately we don't often come across such pearls, but we track them down for you.
We want to inspire you with our collages to design your own surroundings, to generate suggestions and stimulation, to offer ideas and to simply make your life more pleasant.
